Leather

DESCRIPTION
Because art is by its very nature personal, artisans are very invested in their work.
More scrutiny is given to their handcrafted goods than to any mass-produced goods. Leather products made by hand are valued more since they have an air of authenticity, which is something people value.
In the end, mass-produced, copied leather goods made using lower-quality materials cannot be compared to those that are individually handcrafted. A well-crafted object can be distinguished from mass-produced products only by the stitching. The devil is in the details, and the art is in the hands of the craftsman. It has a distinct, “one of a kind” sense.
