“Razor” is a hand-crafted brushed stainless steel track made from high quality material. It is composed of a singular track and a series of individual projectors. The track doesn’t have a fixed form; it can be round, oval, linear, or rectangular depending on what the architect sees fit. The projectors are simply situated on the track where light is needed.

Consecutively, the projectors light up and turn off the moment they slide down or slide up the track. If the architect feels that the light is not emphasizing the appropriate area in the space, the architect could effortlessly slide the projector up and reposition it on the track. Additionally, they have the possibility to increase the amount of projectors if they feel the light is insufficient.

What makes this product so pristine is that it is only an 8mm thick solid piece of metal that’s function remains a mystery. It has a sense of flexibility. It has such a subtle definition of the spaces underneath due to its monolithic proportions. It gives a sense of magic to the beholder.

Light can change the entire ambiance; it creates an atmosphere having a warm feel or the absolute opposite. With “Razor”, this ambiance could be shaped and concurrently selected on site.
